About me

I recently completed my Master’s in Computer Science at Texas Tech University, where I've developed a strong foundation in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cyber-physical systems. I also had the opportunity of working on benchmarking hard computing problems on quantum computers. Currently, my research focuses on AI safety and trustworthiness, reinforcement learning, and the use of large language models as evaluators.

My academic and research journey bridges software and hardware systems with real-world applications. I have an undergraduate degree in Mechatronics Engineering, where I began working on hardware-intensive projects. As a reference, for my undergraduate thesis, I designed and constructed a waste plastic bottle-picking UAV, combining engineering concepts and microcontroller programming. Furthermore, during my master’s degree, I have had the opportunity to work on projects and research that combine this practical foundation with computational depth, one of which is medical image classification using EMCAD [Efficient Multi-scale Convolutional Attention Decoding for Medical Image Segmentation].

On a personal note, I enjoy playing chess, working my way through the Wheel of Time book series, and experimenting with Canva templates.
